Learning and development on accessibility

The Council of Ontario Universities (COU) has created an accessibility resources website, where you can find much information related to accessibility on university campuses. You can learn more, for example, about how to interact with persons with disabilities, organize an accessible event, create accessible documents and teach with accessibility in mind.

See the Council of Ontario Universities’ accessibility resources.

The Teaching and Learning Support Service (TLSS) offers free training for teaching staff. Some workshops are for professors and others for teaching assistants. They cover various topics in post-secondary education, including inclusive pedagogy. For more about optional workshops to improve your skill set, see the Teaching and Learning Support Service workshop calendar.

You can also find more learning resources on the Accessibility Hub.

Learning and development on anti-racism and anti-hate

To explore the training opportunities available to students, staff and professors on policies and procedures related to anti-racism and anti-hate, see the Anti-Racism and Anti-Hate Hub.
