Alumni supporting Paralympian athletes in PyeongChang

On the heels of Canada’s success at the 2018 Olympics, the excitement of elite competition will continue at the Paralympic Winter Games, from March 9 to 18. A total of 55 Canadian athletes will travel to PyeongChang, South Korea, to participate in six sports, including para-alpine, para-snowboard and wheelchair curling.

Among the 26 support staff joining the Paralympians are two graduates of the University of Ottawa:

John Coleman (BSc ’03, MA ’05, PhD ’12), the sports psychologist for the para Nordic athletes

Lindsay Bradley (MD ’10), the para ice hockey (sledge hockey) team doctor
