The Royal Society of Canada welcomes 11 uOttawa researchers
A record number of University of Ottawa researchers have been elected fellows of the Royal Society of Canada (RSC). Seven professors have been awarded the highest distinction for a scholar, scientist or artist in Canada and four researchers have been elected to the sixth cohort of the RSC’s College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists, which recognizes emerging research leaders.
The University of Ottawa among the top 150 best universities in the world
uOttawa climbed to 141st in the world, according to the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2020, and also retains its status as the 7th best university in Canada for the third year in a row!
NSERC grants $18 million to help fund the next-gen of researchers at uOttawa
Over 60 researchers and students from the University will benefit from these funds for projects that aim to raise awareness of climate change and clean growth and that encourage others to take action in support of Canada’s climate goals.
