Thirteen uOttawa researchers named among the world’s most influential

Clarivate’s Highly Cited Researchers list is out, and 13 uOttawa scholars have made the cut — an honour that shows their sustained influence over the last decade. This annual ranking highlights researchers whose works appear among the top 1% most cited worldwide, underscoring their long-term impact across disciplines.

Highly cited researchers represent roughly one in every thousand scientists and social scientists globally. That makes this achievement a powerful testament to the depth and influence of uOttawa’s research community. The 13 researchers’ contributions span the social sciences, physics, clinical medicine and interdisciplinary research, showcasing the breadth of expertise at uOttawa.
