We are pleased that Justin Mohammed has accepted our invitation. He is Counsel at the Crimes Against Humanity and War Crimes Section of the Department of Justice Canada.

Justin Mohammed is Counsel at the Crimes Against Humanity and War Crimes Section of the Department of Justice. He previously served as the Programs Manager for Campaigns & Advocacy at Amnesty International Canada (English Section), clerked for the Honourable Justice Shirzad Ahmed at the Federal Court of Canada, served as a Human Rights Officer with the United Nations peacekeeping mission in Mali, and was an Analyst for the House of Commons Subcommittee on International Human Rights. He articled at the Canadian Centre for International Justice and completed an internship at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda in Arusha, Tanzania.
He holds a Bachelor of Public Affairs and Policy Management degree from the Arthur Kroeger College of Public Affairs at Carleton University, a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law, Master of Arts degree from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University, and a Master of Laws degree from the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law.
