Description of the event

The Centre for Research on Educational and Community Services (CRECS), in collaboration with the uOttawa Library, presents the Knowledge Synthesis Series, a comprehensive introduction to methods for synthesizing research evidence. Whether you're new to research or looking to deepen your understanding, this series will cover the various types of knowledge synthesis, such as systematic reviews, scoping reviews, meta-analyses, and more. Learn what these approaches entail, when to use them, and how they contribute to advancing knowledge in your field. Open to all interested participants.

This series of webinars will focus on four main steps involved in producing a scoping review: planning; searching; screening and selecting; summarizing and reporting. Each 60-minute webinar will include a 30-minute presentation that will be recorded followed by a 30-minute discussion and question period.
