Health, Safety and Environmental Management Recognition
We are proud to recognize Holly Gordon (Senior Officer, Sustainability) and Geneviève Paris (Senior Technician, Laboratory Support) for their outstanding contributions to health, safety and environmental management.

Holly has led transformative sustainability initiatives, coordinating safe and efficient project planning for students, contractors and volunteers. Her leadership in training, supervision and procedural development has fostered a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across campus.

Geneviève revolutionized waste management at the Faculty of Medicine with “The Bucket List,” a guide that has improved lab safety and reduced contamination risks. Her proactive approach and dedication to safe practices have earned widespread adoption and recognition for excellence.

We believe that recognizing and celebrating the achievements of individuals who embody the principles of Policy 72 and Policy 77 can inspire others to prioritize health, safety and environmental management as well. This recognition not only acknowledges the exceptional efforts of the recipients, but also reminds us of the University’s commitment to providing a safe, healthy and sustainable environment for students, staff members and professors.
