The 2025 Clawbie Awards mark the 20th consecutive year in which a panel of judges has selected a small number of Canadian online legal entities to receive a Canadian Law Blog Award. The Slaw All Star recognition was introduced to acknowledge the sustained and influential work of regular Slaw columnists.

The distinction highlights Dr. Salyzyn’s long-standing contributions to Slaw, Canada’s online legal magazine as “one of Canada’s leading voices tracking the intersection of ethics, AI, and law practice standards.” Over more than a decade of regular authorship, her writing has paid attention to the growing influence of artificial intelligence on legal practice standards and its implications for legal ethics.
