On December 2, students and faculty members were recognized for their outstanding academic achievements.

This year’s Faculty of Medicine Awards in Education, Discovery, and Partnerships ceremony recognized the outstanding academic achievements of almost 150 of the Faculty’s learners and teachers in 2025.

Award recipients were nominated for their meaningful impact within the Faculty. The event honoured students and faculty members from basic science undergraduate studies (Translational and Molecular Medicine), postdoctoral studies, graduate studies, postgraduate medical education, undergraduate medical education, the undergraduate doctor of pharmacy program (PharmD), and continuing professional development.

The awards, formerly known as the Awards in Education, reflect the Faculty’s commitment to celebrating the achievements of its learners and trainees, along with select faculty members who demonstrate exceptional dedication and leadership. In alignment with the Faculty’s Strategic Plan, these honours recognize excellence in education, research, and professional development.

Laureates and guests enjoyed the ceremony followed by cocktails at the Canadian Museum of History.
