PharmD admissions to open on September 15th
Friday, August 19, 2022Admissions to the Undergraduate Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program will open on September 15. Applicants who meet the eligibility requirements will be able to apply via uOzone. Admissions will close on January 15, 2023.
Applicants with questions on eligibility requirements can send an email to pharmaca@uOttawa.ca.

Meet Dr. Junio Dort

It is with great excitement that the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences welcomes Dr. Junio Dort as an Assistant Professor! Dr. Dort's research focuses on the mechanisms that regulate inflammation, with the goal of identifying new avenues of treatment to alleviate muscle disorders in various conditions such as aging and muscular dystrophies. -

Saturday, November 26, 2022The School of Pharmaceutical Sciences is proud to support the student initiative of the uOttawa Pre-Pharmacy Club who will be hosting an information evening on the new Pharm. D. program this Thursday, December 1st from 4-6pm at Roger Guindon Hall, room 203.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the program and ask questions about the admissions process.

EDI Seminar on January 16th
Saturday, November 26, 2022On January 16th, the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences will be honored to have Kyle Wilby present a seminar entitled Introduction to Systemic Oppression - Impacts on Patient Education and Care.
Dr. Kyle Wilby is a pharmacist and holds a PhD in education from Maastricht University. In addition to contributing to several scientific journals in the field of pharmacy, he is an Associate Professor at Dalhousie University. His research and involvement focus on equity, diversity and inclusion.
