Overview
Graduating students from the Faculty of Social Sciences will be selected to speak on behalf of the graduates of the Faculty of Social Sciences during the June Convocation ceremonies.
Open to all graduating students, full-time and part-time, at both undergraduate and graduate levels, who are in good standing.
The Class President will write and deliver a speech in front of fellow graduates, faculty, honorary guests, as well as families and friends attending the ceremony.
Students may submit their own applications.
Deadline: March 31, 2026, midnight
Nomination Process (Self-Nomination)
Complete the nomination form for Class President. Applications will be accepted from February 16 to March 31, 2026. Applicants must answer a few questions and submit the required supporting documents:
Names and email addresses of three students from the Faculty of Social Sciences. These students do not need to be enrolled in the same program. Note that the signatories will be contacted by email to confirm their support.
The name of a faculty member who supports the nomination. The faculty member may be part-time.
Nomination Process (Recommendation)
It is also possible to recommend a student for the Class President role. Please complete the nomination form for this purpose.
Selected candidates will be contacted during the week of April 14, 2026.
