We don’t have any deadlines for when to receive applications, we do have a deadline for registering, however.

Note 1: Enrollment for Fall 2024 begins August 24th 2024 at 12:01am, Graduate students must contact the relevant academic unit for more information on enrolment procedures.

Note 2: Enrollment for Winter 2025 begins December 15th 2025 at 12:01am, Graduate students must contact the relevant academic unit for more information on enrolment procedures.

If you are already enrolled in a graduate program that permits microprograms (currently Anthropology, Public and International Affairs, and Sociology) and would like to undertake a microprogram during your graduate studies, contact the graduate studies office of the Faculty of Social Science at scsgrad@uOttawa.ca.

If you are not currently a graduate student at the University of Ottawa:

If you would like to enroll in a microprogram without enrolling in graduate studies, send an email to the graduate studies office of the Faculty of Social Science at scsgrad@uOttawa.ca and include copies of the admission documents required for the microprogram.

The application for admission must be submitted to the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC) before the admission deadline indicated in the above table. The process of transferring applications from OUAC to the University of Ottawa's servers can take up to 10 business days before being able to access the uoZone student portal and upload the documents required to complete your file.

Please note we may continue to accept applications to our programs following the deadline indicated in the table above. Once the given session is no longer an option to select on the OUAC application form, the program is considered closed
