ENGAGER : les collectivités canadiennes et la prise de décisions en matière d’énergie - octobre 2016

Cette conférence s'est adressée aux cadres supérieurs dans les domaines publics, privés, universitaires, autochtones et ONG qui s’intéressent à l’acceptabilité sociale de la prise de décisions en matière d’énergie au niveau local. L’événement a réuni des présentateurs de haut calibre ainsi que des résultats de recherche de pointe entreprise par Énergie positive en collaboration avec la Canada West Foundation.
Le développement énergétique est de plus en plus contesté au niveau local. Alors que l'opposition aux pipelines est primordiale, les projets énergétiques de toutes les tendances - des parcs éoliens et d'autres sources d'énergie renouvelables comme l'hydroélectricité, les centrales à gaz, les infrastructures de transport, le stockage des déchets nucléaires et la fracturation hydraulique - ont fait face à une opposition locale forte dans diverses communautés. Qu'est-ce qui motive ces conflits énergétiques et comment pouvons-nous y remédier?
