Dr. Vaillancourt’s research examines the etiology, developmental course, and consequences of bullying, with a focus on the neurobiology of peer victimization. She is particularly interested in understanding the long-term impact of bullying on mental health and academic achievement and in identifying ways to improve functioning in these areas.
