On March 23rd, the Centre for Law, Technology and Society at the University of Ottawa hosted the Inaugural Copyright Policy Moot organized with Canadian Heritage and Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada.

16 teams from Université de Montréal, University of Toronto, McGill University, York University and the University of Ottawa defended policy proposals before public servants from Canadian Heritage and Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, including from the Copyright Board of Canada and the Canadian Intellectual Property Office.
