Learn about the Sensitive Data Toolkit

The Sensitive Data Toolkit is a suite of documents created by the Portage Research Data Management (RDM) experts to guide researchers in best practices for managing their human participant data across the research lifecycle. Originally targeted to Research Ethics Board members (REB), the Toolkit has since become an invaluable resource across the Canadian research landscape.

The webinar will unpack Toolkit’s key concepts, practices, and recommendations, highlighting sections and passages that apply to community and institutional researchers, demonstrating the considerations and planning necessary to ensure sensitive data are safely handled across the entirety of the research lifecycle.

The 60-minute webinar will include a 30- to 40-minute presentation that will be recorded, followed by a 20- to 30-minute discussion and question period.
