Training on business & human rights 2026
On April 24, 2025, the Human Rights Research and Education Centre (HRREC) offers a training in the area of Business and Human Rights.
This one-day online course will provide participants with an introduction to business and human rights (BHR), including its basis in international human rights law, its distinction from corporate social responsibility (CSR), the concept of human rights due diligence, the right to an effective remedy and some key BHR norms, such as the United National Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. It will also provide expert sessions on gender responsive human rights due diligence and BHR and climate change.
Events on Business & Human Rights
The Human Rights Research and Education Centre (HRREC) have presented events and a webinar series on Business & Human Rights, a multidisciplinary field of research that examines the human rights and environmental implications of business activity and considers how to prevent and redress such harm. It is also an area of social advocacy, legal practice, and consultancy.
