Bridging law and practice: Supporting migrant workers through NGO capacity building

The event will present findings from a postdoctoral research project on Section 91 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, which restricts who may provide immigration advice or representation, and its effects on NGO support for migrant workers in Ontario. A co-designed infographic toolkit to help frontline workers navigate legal limitations will also be introduced. A light lunch will follow.
