Michael Gottheil will be collaborating with Professor Anne Levesque, Gordon Henderson Chair in Human Rights, to support the organization of a national dialogue on reimagining the Canadian Human Rights Act (CHRA) as it approaches its 50th anniversary.
Michael Gottheil is widely recognized for his innovative work within human rights institutions, particularly his leadership in advancing creative and strategic approaches to access to administrative justice and substantive equality.
In March 2025, he joined ARCH Disability Law Centre as Senior Counsel. ARCH is a specialty legal clinic with a long history of providing legal advice and services to low-income persons with disabilities. He is a respected leader in disability rights advocacy and law reform in Ontario, across Canada, and on the international stage.
