One of our main priorities is the promotion of Francophone research, which is central to our history and identity. The Collège des chaires sur le monde francophone (CCRMF) is a hub for research on the French-speaking world.

uOttawa's largest French-language KMb event ever
In May 2024, the University of Ottawa proudly hosted the 91st ACFAS Conference. Under the theme of knowledge mobilization in French, over 6,000 participants from some thirty countries gathered in person and online to experience the vibrant world of French-language research.
