The University of Ottawa Data Literacy Research Institute (DLRI) engages over 50 active members, including researchers, and graduate students.

Researcher members benefit from in-house administrative support for grants and cyclical training to incorporate open data workflows and EDI processes in grant applications. This includes project management, writing support, graphic design, knowledge mobilization, and stakeholder engagement. Members will also benefit from opportunities for collaborative grants, supervision, and publications, as well as expert resources such as data literacy consultation and research data management resources. Members will also have opportunities to showcase their research through knowledge mobilization activities.

Student members benefit from targeted training in data visualization, advanced research methods, knowledge mobilization, and research data management. Students will also benefit from mentorship and networking opportunities, as well as the chance to engage in collaborative interdisciplinary research and community partnerships. Finally, student members will have access to grant-writing support and training, knowledge mobilization awards and research infrastructure seed funding to support their work.
