Description
The theme of the 2026 JPDS is “Reimagining Education: Inclusion, Innovation, and Inspiration.” As education continues to evolve in an increasingly complex world, this theme invites us to reflect on how we can build more equitable, creative, and inspiring learning environments and healing spaces. It challenges us to question existing practices and envision new possibilities for transforming education at every level.
This year, the purpose of the symposium is to unite graduate students and faculty members in meaningful dialogue and collaboration around the future of education. Together, we will explore research, practices, and perspectives that promote inclusive learning communities, encourage innovative approaches to teaching and learning, and inspire purposeful change in educational contexts locally and globally.
How can education systems foster inclusion and equity for learners of all backgrounds, abilities, and identities? How can we allow for more innovation in classrooms and beyond? How can we inspire communities to engage in inclusive and creative practices that reimagine education for the future?
Join us as we come together to share ideas, spark new connections, and celebrate the transformative power of education.
Submit your poster, research presentation or workshop by January 16, 2026, to participate.
