The University of Ottawa Centre for Law, Technology and Society is seeking a creative and driven Student Administrative Assistant to support its operational needs.
We are seeking a candidate that could support the following functions:
Organize and archive the Centre’s files
Support the management of the Centre’s facilities
Support the logistics of our internal and exeternal activities
Reporting to the Director and collaborating with the Centre’s staff, the Operations Assistant will join the growing team and dynamic community of the University of Ottawa’s Centre for Law, Technology and Society, Canada’s leading research group in technology law, ethics and policy. The Assistant will be working both in French and English and perform all duties autonomously and proactively.
Contract will be paid on timesheet. Hours will vary based on availability of the candidate and operational needs.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Minimum qualifications: Bilingualism (French & English); superior interpersonal communication skills.
Assets: Knowledge of OneDrive, Slack and Microsoft Teams; knowledge of uOttawa rooms and AV systems.
Eligibility:The candidate must be enrolled as a student at uOttawa, preferably within the Faculties of Law, Arts, Social Sciences, or Engineering.
