What we offer
Research space and infrastructure
Access to shared wet‑lab space in the Advanced Medical Research Centre (AMRC), along with the University of Ottawa’s broader research ecosystem — including libraries and 26 core facilities with specialized equipment and expert staff.
Commercialization and venture support
Practical support to turn research into market‑ready products and scalable companies, including regulatory and legal guidance and connections to venture capital and strategic partners.
Programs and mentorship
Structured programming and expert mentorship focused on business development, strategic planning and ecosystem navigation.

A highly-connected environment that brings together researchers, clinicians, industry and entrepreneurs, supported by networking opportunities and global partnerships that accelerate translation and adoption.
World‑class resources, on site and beyond
- 17,000 square feet of purpose‑built wet‑lab incubation space in the AMRC
- Shared and private research infrastructure, including tissue culture, imaging, analytical and large‑equipment facilities
- Animal Care and Veterinary Services (ACVS) for high‑quality pre‑clinical studies
- Clinical translation pathways through the Ottawa Academic Health Network, connecting five hospitals and six research institutes
- Direct access to four leading uOttawa core facilities in areas such as flow cytometry, metabolomics, genome editing and cell biology
