The Research Committee promotes research activities within the Faculty and supports the development of research initiatives and collaborations.

Research Committee

Subject to Article 164 of the University Government, the Research Committee will:

  1. make recommendations to the Faculty Council concerning:
    1. establishment and updating of Faculty research policy;
    2. priorities for the allocation of Faculty operating funds for research;
    3. criteria and procedures for evaluating works whose publication is funded by the Faculty; and
  2. make recommendations to the Executive Committee concerning:
    1. annual budget estimates for research and publications;
    2. administration of the research and publications budget.
